It's was our first staying there and I can't fault it. Staff was lovely and friendly and helpful. The rooms were amazing. The food was always lovely. The hotel was great and child friendly as my child is autistic and whole experience was brilliant for her. I would highly recommend to everyone. I would definitely stay there again.

Guest reviews
Talbot Hotel Midleton averages 4.2 out of 5 across 1,735 reviews. A selection, quoted as written:
For the money the Talbot is excellent. Lovely rooms, nice leisure facilities, bar and restaurants were lovely too. Food was good quality, worked out about 30e per head for dinner and desert. Staff were extremely friendly and pleasant. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Lovely stay will go back.
A fabulous hotel and beautiful, modern and spacious rooms. The staff were all extremely friendly, helpful and kind to us and our two children. However, at dinner the time, we were waiting over 30/35 minutes for our starter and also a long wait for the main course. Mine also arrived quite cold. The staff were so lovely I couldn't fault them and didn't want to say it to them at the time but did mention all of this on check out to reception and they were glad and welcoming of the feedback. Overall, a lovely stay and with a few minor adjustments, is an amazing hotel to stay in.
