Our family stayed here for an overnight in the family room, which was pleasantly extremely large for us more than what we’re used to. Large king size bed, a daybed and a pullout sofa bed with two TVs. We requested a bottle of wine and some box of chocolate when we arrived and they were very welcome treat after a long drive. Beds were super comfortable. I was most thrilled with the fluffy large towels that actually covered my entire body. We were all very happy for those. I wanna give those towels a shout out cause normally I’m stuck with very small towels and this was the first time one was a full bath sheet. Our room came with a Dyson hairdryer and it was the first time I’ve ever used…

Can only comment on the restaurant, which is one of my favorite places in Ireland, and I've visited repeatedly over the last decade or so. The food is always delicious, prepared and served quickly and nicely presented. My usual favorites involve fish, but anything I've ever tried on the menu has been above and beyond. The staff is friendly, courteous, and professional. The atmosphere isn't painted on the walls, and it whispers of elegance and tradition. Wonderful spot for an intimate, delicious meal.

What a nightmare! Loud music playing in the bar right below my room. Not sure it could have been any louder if my bed had been in the bar. Music until midnight and then the drunks yelling outside the bar for another hour. The hotel needs to decide whether it’s a nightclub or a bar because it’s too small to be both. If you plan to stay up partying past midnight, this is the place for you. But if you would like peace and quiet in your room earlier in the night, go some where else. The room itself was fine and the staff was pleasant but doesn’t make up for the loud rock music and screaming drunks or the front desk staff who acted like I was the first one to complain about the noise.
