This was my first time staying at The Bosun Hotel, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. The hotel is very well located, offering a lovely view, and it’s beautifully decorated with a clear emphasis on cleanliness. You can tell the team puts a lot of effort and energy into maintaining high standards, with great attention to detail throughout. One of my initial concerns was the fact that the hotel is right next to a bar and restaurant, both part of the same property. I was unsure whether this might affect the peace and quiet of the accommodation. The entrance to the hotel is completely independent, and there was no noise disturbance at all during my stay. Guest reviews
The Bosun averages 4.4 out of 5 across 1,138 reviews. A selection, quoted as written:
The location of Bosun is fantastic, offering beautiful river views. We enjoyed the quality of the food, finding it very tasty. Just be aware that the portions are on the smaller side relative to the cost. The staff were efficient and friendly, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. The only real issue we encountered was the extremely long and somewhat unclear menu, which made the ordering process more complicated than it needed to be.
Lovely spot for a stop over ,food super, service excellent location was really nice on the river Lee. Only gripe was kegs been collected and thrown on the back of a truck at 6am. Not ideal when you are on a break..otherwise a nice stay.
