I stayed in a standard twin room, and I must say, despite the hotel being near a road, it truly emphasizes quality in every aspect. From check-in to check-out, you can feel the care and attention put into the guest experience. The room was spacious, with high ceilings (2.7m!), a large wardrobe, and plenty of space for everyone. The bathroom was generous in size, with excellent water pressure and a very comfortable mixer, small details, but they matter! The staff were outstanding, helpful, friendly, and professional. Stayed here with my wife when attending a wedding in the local area. The staff are friendly, rooms are great and the prices are reasonable. The hot breakfast was cooked fresh. I could not fault this hotel, highly recommend if you're considering a stay here.
This place used to be decent but I am sad to say it’s gone downhill. Had dinner in the bar/lounge today, it was so disappointing. The roast beef was tough, the chicken melter was similarly chewy and the champ left a lot to be desired. The peppered sauce was more like a gravy and totally lacked any kind of pepper flavour. They used to do gluten free chips/goujons etc. but now their fryers are all used for gluten-containing ingredients.
