The food here was brilliant, I was able to ring up and book a table for the same day. I got the 10oz sirloin steak with tobacco onions, peppered shade and the creamy mash as a side. I asked for it medium rare and it came out spectacular, perfect on the inside crispy on the outside. I loved every bit of this meal. I got the malbec wine as well and it was delicious with the steak. For dessert I got the lemon tart, it was very tasty and worked really well with the ice-cream. Although I think the lemon tart could be a little less thick/gello like. Stayed here multiple times since we were children. First time back in 15+ years. As usual Arnold's didn't disappoint. The old charm the hotel has still remains, the bistro and the dining room were fantastic. The selection of food and drink was great. My relatives some of which are Gluten Free were able to find many choices for them to select from. Staff at the reception and in the hotel were great, very welcoming and friendly, also helping wherever they could with baggage to the rooms or eating in the dining room and bistro. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Great views of the gardens at the rear of the hotel. Love Arnold's and I hope they are around for many years to come !!!
Highly recommend! Lovely staff who are happy to chat with guests. Rooms come with a binder of information alongside different guides of things to do in the area - and even just walking around the area is beautiful. Dinner was delicious and we especially loved the mussels and seafood chowder. Relaxed in the bar afterwards and enjoyed local brews.
