Stayed at the penthouse, unreal place it really is. Very well looked after, has everything you need. Beautiful location, luxurious inside and out, everything down to the cushions and bedding. Literally 2 min walk to the main street where you have shops, hotels, chippy, restaurants, ice-cream and sweet shop, beach...all very close walking distance. I will say though, hear me out! This place needs air-con, It's like a greenhouse and the big windows do not open, you only have the sliding door and not much air gets in, plenty of flies get in though which is anoying. There is no white curtain to cover the sliding doors like the rest of the apartments have. We had to drive to letterkenny to buy…

Great place to stay while enjoying Donegal. The owner was very responsive and place was tidy. The surrounding area is beautiful and then place is a great base. Great value for money. Would recommend!
I came twice from France to spend some holidays in Bay View. Downings is probably one of the nicest place on earth. The view from the house is astonishing.
