Had a lovely time. The staff were very friendly. Had a great sleep, even in the afternoon. The blinds on the windows were ideal for letting in the right amount of light and air and also there was a pull-down blackout blind which meant I was able to sleep in the afternoon when I needed. Also had a great solo offer, which can be hard to find in Ireland

Guest reviews
Ashdown Park Hotel averages 4.3 out of 5 across 2,000 reviews. A selection, quoted as written:
Lovely hotel. I was here recently for a family wedding and thouroughly enjoyed my two night stay. It’s a beautiful venue with a nicely laid out amenities that make the place feel quite big despite all being nice and compact. The rooms were comfortable clean and quite spacious (I was in a room booked for 3 adults and we never felt like we had overcrowded ourselves) The function room for the wedding was great, nicely laid out with two bars on opposite sides, both open for a part of the night and one staying open till much later. The function room bathrooms provided two baskets of toiletries which was a nice touch. The breakfast was great with a mix of buffet and kitchen prepared options…
We just dropped in for lunch after a lovely day at the Asha Spa. All the staff were lovely, especially our server Stella who went the extra mile. Can highly the corn on the cob side was gorgeous, the veg soup was a bit too thick but overall enjoyed our meal.
