I recently stayed here during our trip to Ireland. Not only was it a lovely place, what made it 5 stars in my opinion was how kind and helpful the staff was. We had gone out to dinner earlier in the evening and my son didn’t not like what was served, we got back to Greenhills with 5 minutes left before the restaurant closed. They graciously and quickly made him gujons to order, and they were delicious and my son was delighted. The next morning I left the hotel not realizing I left my passport in the safe in my room. I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was excellent, and the bed was incredibly cozy (I slept so well). The pool was great too, with a relaxing jacuzzi and a sauna that made everything even better. Everything was clean, well taken care of, and very comfortable. What really stood out to me was the service. I especially want to highlight the receptionist Andrea. She spoke my native language (which isn’t English) and took the time to clearly explain all the hotel’s amenities, the things I could do, and the schedule. A very busy hotel. Quickly seated and orders taken, drinks brought. We were a party of 3, and food was outstanding, each having something different. So good in fact we went back for lunch 2day. Same varied menu and each of us again went for something different. Again outstanding. Huge parking available. Deserves its 5 stars for food and service.
