For freshly cooked food and a great atmosphere Nelligan’s Bar is the Kilmurry Lodge Hotel is a must. Taco prawns and chips, fish and chips and the mushroom soup were what we tried. All were delicious and nicely cooked. Although fish was modestly portioned and peas more pasty that mushy, the chips were dry and crispy, their taco prawns are renowned and the mushroom soup was very tasty. Service is very prompt, friendly and full of conversation. Nice airy restaurant.

I've stayed in the Kilmurry Lodge twice and both times had a fantastic experience. The service is exceptional - the team they have working there are so warm and friendly. The rooms are modern and clean. The hotel is much bigger than it appears, with a small but fully equipped gym and a really great buffet breakfast. The location is ideal and very easy to get to. I'd highly recommend!
Staff were absolutely brilliant,food was top notch. But for the money we paid for the weekend that the Wolfe Tones were playing and the stunning weather to not have a fridge,a fan or even a bottle of water in the room was a massive disappointment. Not like a bottle of water was going to break the bank.
