Guest reviews
Upton Court Hotel averages 4.1 out of 5 across 572 reviews. A selection, quoted as written:
We stayed for 4 days for the Fleadh. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't served till 9am but they accommodated us with a continental breakfast for two mornings when we had to be gone early. We ate in the bar on two evenings. While we had to wait a while for the food, it was worth the wait. No complaints there! The hotel decor is a bit dated and could do with a makeover but it didn't affect us in any way. We would stay again.
Outside this hotel it says it’s a 3 star and it definitely is. It’s very outdated. The whole hotel is outdated and needs a serious uplift. It looks like it’s on its last legs. All the carpets from the 70s, the walls all wooden, cheap. Honestly for the price we paid im quite shocked at how bad it is. We paid 190e for 2 adults, one child. Our room was okay, beds okay. Very small though. The bathroom felt like a public one, with all these mounted dispensers for soap & shampoo in the shower. The shower itself is awful. Also we couldn’t open our balcony door as we could literally smell the food from the kitchen! The room itself was boiling hot when we arrived. It does have air con which is good…
