Salmon Island View might sound like just a name or a sign... but trust me, it’s so much more than that! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would + because this place truly deserves it. This was our first ever trip to Ireland, something I’ve been dreaming of for years… and we feel so lucky that we hit the jackpot on our very first visit! We had the pleasure of meeting Bernie and Willy + and from that moment on, this became more than just accommodation for us. We genuinely felt like we found a new home and new friends in Ireland. I could write pages about this place + the beautiful details in the rooms and everywhere and the comfort, the peaceful location, the charm of the building +…

Bernie’s an absolute lady. Super welcoming. Cabin was beautiful and cosy. Everything you need in there - food, tea, milk etc. No problem making food in kitchen anytime you like as well and plenty of options. Really charming place overall and super friendly hosts. Very helpful with guidance on the area, fishing tips, boat hire, and for general chats and laughs. Thanks a mill Bernie. See you again :)
Had an absolutely amazing stay! Bernie was the most wonderful host ever and helped me out of tough spots multiple times. 10/10, if you are looking for a great place to stay, I recommend her and Salmon Island View strongly!
