We just had my husbands 40th here this weekend. 12 of them played golf and said the course was top class. We had 30 guests for dinner and the food, wine and service was excellent. So reasonably priced for big groups. Breakfast was fabulous also. We stayed in the rooms in the house and bed was unreal so comfortable. Thanks to all the staff they couldnt do enough for us all.

Lovely staff. Responded very quickly to my enquiries prior to arrival. We arrived very late but the porter welcomed us and led us to our apartment. We booked the 2 bedroom apartment. It was spacious but dated. Shower looked grubby.
We are visiting Ireland from Texas, was super stoked about staying here specially for the golf. The place is really nice, the rooms are decent. But, the let down was dinner. The guy who sat us down had an attitude, the service took forever to get our order, food took forever to come out, the steak was super hard to cut. We ordered the mussels because we thought they would be fresh and savory like what we had in Dooling; nevertheless they were disappointing they weren’t fresh and tasted beyond fishy. Then I tried to get the guy’s attention to pay and he would ignore us. Eventually we got the check from him and I gave it back right away. Mind you he saw it and just left it there, carried on…
