Above and beyond for sure. If you find yourself in Dunmore Ireland, find the Strand. After walking from the cruise tender port through the town, we had lunch which was great. BUT because of my walking limitation, we found that we could not get back to the tender. PAUL, the manager, dropped everything and drove us back in his personal car and would only take a THANK YOU for his kindness. I’ve never have experienced anything like this…say hello to Paul when you get there. He is THE BEST EVER! 🍀

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the The Strand Inn. We got a super room and what a view! - picture postcard. The food was lovely, both in the bar and in the gorgeous relaxed restaurant. Such a good positive vibe about the place and each and every member of staff were so efficient and friendly. I've never seen a bunch of people work so hard and in total harmony with one another. We will definitely be back.
We have just returned from 2 magical days spent at the Strand. Weather was beautiful. Venue was stunning. Hotel bright clean and very cheerfully decorated. We swam every day and enjoyed the beautiful woods and cliff walks around the town. Room had a balcony where we lay in the sunshine both afternoons. The food was excellent and the staff were so friendly and attentive. We will definitely return.
