O’Donovan’s is a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Clonakilty. The historic hotel is charming and quaint, and the perfect place from which to explore the town. My visit to O’Donovan’s was also my first time in Clonakilty and the night before my brother’s wedding. I received a warm welcome on arrival and all staff were lovely throughout my short stay. Special thank you to Robin for excellent communication before I arrived and to Dena for being such a kind and helpful host. My room was spotlessly clean and so comfortable. We had the pleasure of staying in one of your apartments last Tuesday to Thursday. Can we please convey our sincere thanks and gratitude to each and everyone of your staff who we met during our stay.We were very warmly welcomed and everyone was so kind and chatted freely to our little boy who.has complex medical needs. One of us have to be up with him at night and having this apartment made our little holiday a whole lot easier. We will definitely be back and cannot recommend the hotel enough. THANKS AGAIN 👍 😊
Staff are friendly and located perfectly in the town Eat in the hotel many times over the last week the food is ok but i had a Spoon that was very dirty that i was going to use . I ordered a pint and the glass was filthy dirty.. So that was returned. In general its a nice hotel but needs cleaning up in certain area and the Toilets are in bad shape also.
