Residents car park FOC. One lift services all floors. Great stay here 👍 staff friendly and helpful food out of this world and vast portions, bar compact but residents lounge spacious. Lovely hotel throughout as are the staff but the wall art doesn’t match the setting, the Hôtel screams history so why a drawing of a kangaroo with a sweater on (room 111) ? Looks terrible imo but I’m getting old and maybe an age thing

Our dining experience here was a major letdown. The service was disorganized from the start. We ordered cocktails, which didn’t arrive until after my starter was served, nearly 40 minutes later, and no water was offered at any point. When the cocktails finally showed up, they were disappointingly below average in taste, lacking any finesse. To make matters worse, we had to explicitly ask the staff to let us finish our cocktails before bringing the main courses, explaining that cocktails are typically served before the meal. When the mains arrived, my dish was cold, clearly left sitting while we consumed our drinks. The food itself was unappetizing, and I could barely eat it. Both tables…
