My 2 adult children and I enjoyed a very comfortable and friendly stay last weekend in Peacockes Hotel. We brought our 2 middle aged well behaved dogs along and were accommodated in room 124 on the ground floor. The room was clean, bright and airy and only a few seconds from the back door, which was very handy as we were also able to park our car directly outside. Staff were lovely, restaurant was small and homely (also the bar) and the food from a small menu was very good. I will definitely return and am happy to recommend this dog friendly hotel. Location was excellent. Helen

Just got back today from a 2 night stay. Not my first time. Rooms are clean and comfy. Had our dinner the two nights and it was lovely, breakfast was great. Staff are very welcoming especially Peter, friendly and very helpful. Will be back again.
