The location is beautiful. Hotel is very clean and plenty of hand sanitizer stations. The staff alone are worth staying here for. Very professional, fast and efficient service, constantly cleaning, yet have all the time in the world to answer questions and make you feel welcome. Food is decent with large portions. Have the lamb shank. Lovely local art on the walls. Old world feel hotel which is a nice contrast to corporate chains.

Amazing as usual. The staff are so nice and friendly and the food is so so tasty! My partner and his brother had roast beef and said it was delish! I had the baked cod with a creamy sauce and cheese topping. The veg is always cooked to perfection. Oh my goodness it was fab!! Thank you all.
We were on a coach trip to Donegal and called into the Strand Hotel for dinner. It was an excellent experience. Great food lovely and friendly staff to whom nothing was too much trouble. The hotel had s very friendly atmosphere. Its a great pity that its now closed to the public.
