Guest reviews

Hampton Hotel averages 4.3 out of 5 across 890 reviews. A selection, quoted as written:

Rooms are spacious with a great bed. Very good sleep quality. Staff are excellent. Bar food has nice choices and cooked to perfection. Nice outside seating area if weather permits but they have heaters also. Good value compared to other hotels of a similar rating in the area

4/5Nigel M.

A nice comfortable hotel in a good location. I had a quiet, spacious room on the top floor. Place was spotless and up to standard. Decor was weird though in the hallways: like a mix between a brothel and a disco. Breakfast wasn't bad but in a badly lit bar. They definitely need to buy a different brand of coffee. It was watery and weak. When I complained and asked for a stronger cup I got exactly the same. Overall though a nice place to stay.

3/5Fiona B.

Booked for 1 night. Free residents parking which us a bonus as other hotels charge extra. Nice spacious room, although a bit on cold side. Very spacious bathroom. Very musty, damp smell around hallway. No view from our room as it backs onto carpark so windows are frosted. Bed comfortable. Easy to get into city centre as buses Very close. But its a lovely walk to town (about 25 mins walk). Not a bad hotel, although decor in rooms a bit odd.
