Although the hotel was undergoing renovations during my stay, we didn’t notice it at all from our room or in the restaurant. I absolutely loved the location, right by the canal and very close to the old city. It was easy to walk to several parks, attractions, and a wide variety of restaurants. The service at the restaurant, both at breakfast and dinner, was impeccable. A great value for a vacation in Dublin!

I am so incredibly disappointed that I paid full price to stay in a room that I was basically unable to use after 8:30 AM. I see that some have posted that the construction noises did not bother them: that was not the case for me. They are still filling the rooms directly above the construction which starts (promptly!) at 8:30 am every morning and my husband and I were unlucky enough to get assigned to that side of the building. If you are hoping to sleep in or even be in your room after 8:30 AM I would highly recommend staying elsewhere.
