We had a long layover in Dublin and booked a room at Lynams. The hotel is in a good location and short walk to several activities, such as Temple Bar area. Concierge was of great help and his recommendations for our brief Dublin experience were great. Room was very well maintained and comfortable. We had no issues with water pressure or temperatures and the Wi-Fi was great. For the price and the location Lynams definitely suited our needs.

Guest reviews
Lynams Hotel averages 3.1 out of 5 across 28 reviews. A selection, quoted as written:
Price is correct and location is great, but that's about it. Reservation is tricky and if you go through a third party or their website you risk getting a twin room. We had no shower gel nor shampoo, and towels are always changed even when you let them on the tray, there's a message saying if your towel is on the tray we'll not change it, so much for ecology. There is absolutely no soundproofing, you hear people talking in the room next door and the garbage truck at 5 am just as if you were sleeping in the street.
DO NOT BELIEVE THE REVIEWS!!! the rooms look NOTHING like the photos online, plus the entire building is a fire trap. There was black mold growing all over the grout in between the tiles around the tub, the bathroom was filthy, the bedding was dirty and felt almost greasy, the carpet looked as if it hadn't been cleaned properly in years, and the room itself was the size of a university dorm. I will say however that the man operating the front desk was a very nice gentleman and had no problem refunding my money and referring us to another hotel. Proceed with caution!!
