My boyfriend and I spent three nights there. The room was nice, tea and coffee were provided in the room, the shower worked and the bed was comfy. The interior design is charming and special, I liked it more than the common minimal design where all hotels look the same. The use of the spa was included for free. It has an 80s charme but it was clean and the staff was very friendly. We did not try the food but our friends enjoyed it. The bar was great and they played live music on the weekend. We had a very enjoyable, albeit short, stay at the Sheldon Park Hotel. We were very happy with our room for 3 persons, which had a small sitting area and table. We wished we could have had time to have breakfast the next morning, but missed out on that. The room was clean, and well presented with good ceiling height and plenty of storage. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Parking was a bit difficult - we found a spot around the back, but were able to bring our car around nearer to the door when we were ready to depart with all of our luggage. The location, while not attractive, was suitable for our needs as we wished to have easy access to get to the airport next morning.
Our room was so nice. Very clean. The only downside was that the elevator was out of service. The bonus for that was that we got more exercise as we were on the top floor! The bar was comfortable. We had dinner there and it was very good. Ur waitress was sweet and funny. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The staff was extremely helpful. We booked at the last minute and was very pleased with the price.
