We spent three nights at the Temple Bar Inn in Dublin. We had a six and a half hour overnight flight from Canada and were seated next to the bathroom so did not sleep at all. We called the Temple Bar Inn around 9:30 am to ask about the possibility of checking in early and they said the room was ready. We got there around 10 am. Check in was a breeze. The lobby was very cozy. We took a nap for a few hours. Our room faced Buskers and the Hard Rock Cafe. The music was quite loud. There is a second, bigger window that needs to be closed if you want to block out the noise. The room was tiny, possibility the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed, however the bed was very comfortable.…

Guest reviews
Temple Bar Inn averages 4.5 out of 5 across 1,563 reviews. A selection, quoted as written:
After reading so many reviews I was really worried about booking this hotel, but it was exactly what we needed for our trip to Dublin. The room is small and pretty basic, but we weren’t spending time in the room much. It’s located on the very edge of Temple Bar so it’s not in the middle of all the craziness. Our room faced the bar and it wasn’t too terribly loud, the bar closes at 11pm on the weekdays and clears out pretty quickly. The room was quite warm… AC didn’t work, but the window opens and there is a fan. The blackout curtains are very effective, but definitely block airflow, so I’d suggest bringing an eye mask and just leaving the curtains open. Overall, I’m pleased with the…
My friend and I stayed in a twin room for a couple of nights. The room was clean and had everything we needed even ear plugs and a cooling fan! We ate in the restaurant one night which wasn’t brilliant! I ordered fish and chips. The fish came as a huge chunk which was undercooked and the batter was thick and hard. My friend had the chicken burger which she said was nice. Martin on the front desk was an absolute diamond. We had great chats with him and he helped us find the best breakfast cafe. The Old Mill just down Fleet Street. 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Would definitely recommend staying here as its location is fantastic too.
