Great carvery here & generous serving. Great choice of beef, fish, chicken or turkey & ham. Food is served quickly & a hot plate. And you can pay quickly too, which means your dinner is nice & hot. There's a choice of gravy or pepper cream sauce. You can get water, squash( water with orange cordial) or a drink from the bar to accompany your meal. You won't be disappointed. You won't be hungry after this meal. Lovely polite friendly staff. Plenty comfortable seating. A choice of desserts. I think the carvery finishes at about 3 or 3.30 p.m. but then they have a menu that you can order from...Its a good value hotel & Claremorris is a lovely town. There's plenty shops...jewellery, clothes,…

Guest reviews
Dalton Inn Hotel averages 4.2 out of 5 across 635 reviews. A selection, quoted as written:
A good spot for dinner (we had a lá carte) with the kids, all the Irish favourites, reasonably priced, very tasty, good options, seating good and spaceous ideal if you require the extra space and a bit of privacy, quite a big place inside, we did not avail of the accommodation but I recommend this place for food. Staff good and welcoming.
On holidays came from Knock and decided we'd eat in the Dalton inn. Ordered two steaks medium rare and came out well done to burnt. The pasta was like a bowl of mush. Food was so expensive. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone if you know your standard of food. One hour later my son suffered from severe pains from the steak, think he got food poisoning, he hasn't looked at cows the same since! Very disappointing
