Had a family reunion for lunch at the Western Hotel in Claremorris. Very traditional hotel with ample parking in rear of building. The hotel bar is very cozy, with nice fireplace, and hotel is conveniently situated in middle of town. The lunch was excellent in the pub, and barman was extremely friendly and attentive. Good pint of Guinness as well. Excellent day and would highly recommend this establishment.

Guest reviews
The Western Hotel near Town Centre Apartment averages 4.1 out of 5 across 276 reviews. A selection, quoted as written:
Staff are really friendly and the food that we actually ate was really nice. Pub style decor and music lovely. Really nice irish pub with a lovely ambiance. The problem we had was we ordered and after 40 mins waiting they told us they only had one chicken meals left ( we ordered two and asked for salmon to replace the chicken) Then a good 5 mins later they told us they didnt have that either. We were hangry and left. 😆😆 We are locals and came again to support them with the hope it would be fine but no, we ordered prawns, needed extra marierose sauce snd they said there was none left. And there was not enough on to start with. I never complain just an honest review. What we did have…
