Our second stay at Hotel Minella - and hopefully not our last. This property is a lovely blend of old and new in Ireland. Liz and John know how to make you feel really welcome. The grounds and walking path along the river Suir are stunning. The equestrian theme throughout hotel is classic Irish. The food at dinner and breakfast was uniformly great and the pastries were exceptional. The gym and spa were an unexpected surprise- first class equipment. Five stars doesn't seem enough for the great times we've had there with friends and family.

Guest reviews
Hotel Minella & Leisure Centre averages 4.4 out of 5 across 1,005 reviews. A selection, quoted as written:
This is a lovely quiet hotel which is family owned and operates. I am celiac and they were amazing at making sure I was able to eat quality gluten free meals. Only downside was the lack of air conditioning but most of our group were able to open their windows. They only reason we did not was because the cows right across the road were screaming very loudly.
The food here is consistently excellent. From sandwiches to steak or roast dinners, I've never been let down. To top it off, the coffee is also excellent which is an important consideration to a coffee lover when dining. Highly recommended 👌
