Rooms are clean and basic but have all you really need. Bar staff were very friendly with a good atmosphere present. Breakfast again could not be faulted and serving staff were again very friendly. Kinvara is a lovely small village with sizable port that has a long history of fishing and trade. There is a castle to see where banquets are regularly held for tourists. Overall a most enjoyable visit.

Nice meal here, very generous portions. We had chowder & soup to start which arrived very quickly and was plentiful & delicious. Followed this with burger & chips and 'pub style' fish & chips, both of which were very good and very filling. Staff were nice and friendly even though they were busy. Good pub atmosphere in bar - only downside was football on TV
As a Merryman, proper spelling. I walked in and bellowed, “There is a Merryman here and he would like his Free Pint!!” The Pub taker said, “The last time someone said the same and the answer still is NO!!” At least you cannot blame me for trying!! lol
