Five stars just aren’t enough! What a fantastic stay from start to finish! The room was spotless, cosy, and full of charm, the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease. Dinner was a real highlight: a beautifully prepared 3-course menu that left us absolutely delighted (and deliciously full). Breakfast the next morning was just as impressive, fresh, varied, and full of little surprises. But what truly made this stay special was the incredibly friendly and attentive service, warm, genuine, and always with a smile. You can feel the heart behind everything they do. And then, the star of the show, the cheeky little rubber ducky in the bathroom! Not only did it give us a good giggle,…

Guest reviews
Woodford Dolmen Hotel averages 4.4 out of 5 across 2,073 reviews. A selection, quoted as written:
We stayed in one of the lodges close to the hotel but not linked because we had a dog with us, so cannot comment on rooms. The hotel was very busy with birthdays, communions and weddings. This did not impact on service and the sound proofing was excellent. The food was delicious. We are sure to go back to this lovely hotel just outside Carlow.
We arrived yesterday for food in the restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing and delicious. The staff were very accommodating. My mam was 90 and they went above and beyond for us all. Absolutely fantastic service and we were only walk-ins. Would definitely recommend 👌 100% Mam is still talking about her day out. ❤️
