The rooms are a typical Irish size, a bit small, but clean. The bathrooms are shower only and very clean. There is coffee/tea/biscuits and a safe. I enjoyed my room. The views lack a bit as it seems the hotel was out together over time by joining different buildings. The location is excellent, close to public transit access and walking distance from restaurants and shopping. The STAFF is outstanding. Helpful and kind. I came back to my hotel wet and cold after a 10++ hour bus tour, freezing. I asked for a pharmacy (closed at that time) and an extra duvet (delivered to my room with a caring smile). The next morning I received a call from the front desk staff informing me that the pharmacy…

Guest reviews
Eyre Square Hotel averages 3.9 out of 5 across 1,021 reviews. A selection, quoted as written:
Lovely friendly staff, brilliant live music in the bar. Rooms are compact, clean and quiet. Tasty breakfast. Very close to all Galway has to offer.
First off, the location is excellent. It is a very short walk to the Latin Quarter and many of the popular sites in the heart of Galway. We also enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant and bar on the main floor. The breakfast was okay, although the choices were more limited than other places we stayed in Ireland. Parking is offsite, in a garage a couple of blocks away. We arrived late in the evening and had to walk back to the hotel along a mostly deserted street, but overall it wasn't too out of the way. The rooms were a little disappointing. They were smaller and more narrow than we expected, and the sink in the bathroom wasn't solidly attached in one of our two rooms. Also, the view out…
