A very generic hotel. Prices aren't cheap, and there were a few flaws, ones that might especially stand out to a foreigner (like myself). The window in my room had a gap in it, proving a gentle breeze which was not pleasant on a cool night, and didn't help with noise coming from the relatively busy road the hotel is on. The first night also had no hot water. I'm giving the benefit of doubt here that the staff said the hotel is undergoing renovations, but some things seemed like they were a part of the hotel.

Glen Oaks Hotel exceeded our expectation for the price paid. The room was clean, neat and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we had no problem with voicey guests. The only downfall was the warm water pressure in the shower. All together a great stay!
Nice clean hotel but basic. No hairdryer or iron in rooms only rte Irish stations on TV. Bathroom excellent, lovely spacious shower cubicle. Reception area not good, nice colourful furniture but reception desk tucked away in corner.
