The rooms were quite spacious with very comfortable beds. Sleep quality was excellent. If you are going to use the restaurant in the hotel, and we definitely recommend it, make sure you're hungry! Portions are quite large and the food is of excellent quality. The hotel is a leisurely 20 minute walk to the centre of the city, and pretty flat all the way. More and more hotels are now cook to order hot breakfast, but not this one. The breakfast is totally buffet and will not be faulted. Rather strangely, booking the…

Guest reviews
Nox Hotel Galway averages 4.3 out of 5 across 1,444 reviews. A selection, quoted as written:
Had a 10 day stay here. room was functional, and comfortable. We were out most of the time exploring the city. Restaurant Food was great and bar staff worked hard to please. Restaurant closes at 9 but fabulous bar tender prepares and serves the light menu. bus stop ten minute walk and bus 407 took us to Eyre Square. great experience Sue and Tony Bryant
This hotel saved us from an airbnb rental with non-functional plumbing, and for that I am very grateful. It was certainly not a bargain with our last minute rate. It is walkable to city center, but not very convenient if that's where you're planning to spend most of your time. Basic accommodation, but a decently comfortable and safe place to sleep.
