A beautiful hostel in the city of Waterford, within walking distance to all amenities the city has to offer. Liz is a fantastic host, she's kind, attentive and was able to accommodate our late arrival. She took her time explaining the lay out of the hostel and showing us to our room. The room was beautiful and cosy. The bed in room 2 was very comfortable the temperature of the room was perfect. Beautiful art displayed all over the shared spaces and it's very homely. We had the pleasure of meeting Oli the following morning and hearing one or two of his stories, worth listening to him 😁 can't wait for our return visit

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay at the Dyehouse recently. The owner is a really interesting, funny, friendly, and helpful character! He explained everything about the room and gave us lots of advice about the local area too. The location is great - just a short walk from central Waterford, yet its surprisingly peaceful and quiet, even on a Saturday night! The breakfast was plentiful and really lovely, bedroom nice and comfy, and the shower was great. We'd definitely recommend!
It's hard for me to judge because I didn't spend the night there. However, we tried to arrange accommodation for our family from France. Nothing came of it because unfortunately the dates didn't match up. But I can say that the rooms themselves, the décor and the atmosphere made an incredible impression on me. The owners are simply wonderful. When I arrange a holiday next year, there will be no other option than this guesthouse.
