I stayed here with my sister-in-law. What a great choice! We were met at the door by the wonderful Phillipe and Sophie who welcomed us like old friends and took our bags. To say we immediately at home is an understatement. We felt as if we had our own private concierge in Phillipe and received nothing but 5* treatment for our entire stay. The fire was built up for us each evening, we were given maps of the area as well as great local info on interesting sites. However sitting in the beautiful gardens was just as relaxing. We old girls enjoyed some wine each evening - even this was taken care of by Phillipe who opened and poured for us. Both Vera and I cannot recommend Rodeen more.…

Up off the main road but really easy to find, google maps took us straight there. Plenty of free on site parking. Room was great, everything I needed and some more, inc a fridge, microwave, tea and coffee facilities, tv and ensuite toilet/shower and a comfy bed. Our hosts were excellent, social and knowlegeable about the area. Breakfast is continental, no big greasy fry, fresh and plenty of choice. To sum up, great hosts, great accomodation in a great location, ohh and did i mention views over the fine gardens that are.. yep. Great too.
They are the most hospitable B&B hosts I've ever had. Even though I arrived after check-in time, they still welcomed me warmly - helping with my luggage, asking about my journey, and whether I'd eaten. When they learned I was a bit hungry, they kindly prepared a simple meal for me. The living room was incredibly cozy with tasteful antiques and classic music playing on the radio. Their exquisite garden was a joy to relax in - every corner was delightful. Thank you so much, Philip and Sophie!
