We had originally only booked for one night but extended another night as this was such a great place and value for this price. The room was quite big with nice wooden furniture and sea view. The pub underneath equivalently also had a lovely view while sitting on the terrace, very friendly staff and absolutely delicious food. If we’re ever in the area again, this will be on the list :)

Guest reviews
McLoughlins Of Mulranny averages 4.4 out of 5 across 498 reviews. A selection, quoted as written:
We spend two nights here. The rooms are very nice, super clean and quite big, great view. We also had dinners and drinks in the pub, the service was excellent and the food was very, very, very good…from pasta to steak, everything is delicious. The view from the terrace is also stunning.
Avoid at all cost. We paid for 3 days for deluxe room as shown on their website and other websites. Does not exist. We were in 2 rooms, first Room you couldn't open door or drawer of wardrobe because the locker was up against it which had knob missing from drawer as well. Bathroom was dirty and sink had no stopper. Asked to be moved to deluxe room we paid for,we were told all rooms the same. Basically deluxe room didn't exist. We were moved into another room the next day. This had no lockers but an electric stove beside bed where locker usually is. Shower tray kept filling up while in shower, the plughole was full of hairs etc , disgusting.. Bar and restaurant were dirty and very shabby.…
