We visited August Bank Holiday, just a great spot, staff and service were so friendly and efficient. We had food in the Bar Area , no complaints was lovely. Breakfast was also so nice, thank you for making our visit so welcoming. Will be back and highly recommend. The area is just so beautiful surrounding the Hotel.

Guest reviews
The Glendalough Hotel averages 3.4 out of 5 across 963 reviews. A selection, quoted as written:
Beautiful hotel right next to the trails. Highly recommend staying here. Restaurant also serves pretty amazing food. The staff was very friendly and fed us even though we were near closing time. They took our order and made sure we had dinner.
We spent a brief weekend at this hotel, booking dinner, bed, and breakfast. The hotel is okay; however, there were many little details that reduced our enjoyment of our stay there. First of all, we found dirty mugs in our rooms despite the beds seeming clean and new. Despite this, the dinner was really good. Perhaps we were starving because of the Wicklow track we did. Anyway, the worst thing was the breakfast. We booked the last time (9:45 a.m.), and out of the blue, all food was out. We asked the service if they were going to refill it, but they didn’t serve food enough for all the people that were in the room. We finally paid for an unfinished service instead of joining a full service,…
