The service and breakfasts at this hotel were exceptional! The staff did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. All the rooms are upstairs and there is no lift, so it was somewhat difficult for some members of our party with limited mobility, but the staff made sure their rooms were the most accessible. The rooms were somewhat small, as the building is an older one, but they were well appointed and had all the modern conveniences. The bar and dining rooms were roomy and beautiful and the food was excellent,

Guest reviews
Rathbaun Hotel averages 4.4 out of 5 across 438 reviews. A selection, quoted as written:
Couldn’t recommend more. The rooms were not only cozy but also spotlessly clean, making our stay incredibly comfortable. The staff went above and beyond, they weee friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. They shared excellent tips to discover around. Breakfast was an amazing: fresh, light and of outstanding quality. A wonderful experience from start to finish!
We just stopped at the hotel for a coffee while exploring the local area by bike. Of all the friendly people we met on our Ireland trip these were the most welcoming and helpful. There is a surprisingly large restaurant and bar area where there happened to be some beautiful live music for a lunch party. This was an unexpected little highlight of our trip
