It is adjacent to the Kilkenny Castle, as well as some of the most popular restaurants and pubs in Kilkenny. Also, you are a couple of minutes walking distance from the River Nore Canal walk. Absolutely beautiful scenery. The rooms at the club house hotel are elegantly, decorated with charging stations throughout the room. The beds are comfortable and the pillows fluffy. The staff at the clubhouse hotel was exceptional. They met all of our needs and we’re always available to answer any questions.

Stayed here as part of a 20 person hen party. The staff and manager Ian were amazing to deal with in terms of organising it, nothing was too much hassle. They put us in the drawing room which was a perfect space for us for drinks, food and games and entertainment. Bedrooms were beautiful and spacious. Location absolutely ideal. The entire group had nothing but good to say about the staff, their helpfulness and our stay. Thanks again to everyone, will definitely return for a weekend stay!
It is an enjoyable town, with a beautiful castle looking over the local river, my first impression of Kilkenny. Our hotel is built near a main road. I love the instructions we get beforehand about the available parking space, a big plus. Then, we enter a very Victorian building through the back door. I usually love history and old grandeur, but my experience has taught me to be cautious of this kind of hotel. The squeaking floor usually means they can't clean them, and old grandeur means bathrooms without good facilities. However, in this hotel, the disadvantage is that you have to walk upstairs with your luggage. Our room is located in a newer building, which you reach after taking…
