We loved our visit, and Farmer Tim was the perfect host. Plus, it was a perfect location -- a nice stopping point midway through the Ring of Kerry drive. Our 10-year-old daughter LOVED the farm and all within. Animals, chores, tractors, etc. Especially the lambs and also the young alpacas. Our 16-year-old son loved the outdoors in general, and in particular the life sciences. So, very pleased with all the animal experience. My wife’s grandfather was born in County Kerry, so she was already feeling very at home on that trip. We had a wonderful visit at Hidden Hill farm. Kitty is a fantastic and engaging host and she made sure we all had a great time. My children aged 10, 8 & 6 loved the experience of feeding the alpaca and chatting to the sheep. The highlight for them was finding the hen’s eggs which Kitty generously gifted to us afterwards. I thought we had enjoyed them all scrambled for breakfast the next morning until I found one a few days later tucked away in a sock by my 6 year old in the hopes it would hatch! We had the pleasure of meeting Tim towards the end of our visit and he too was so welcoming and kind especially to the children answering all their questions! We will definitely return in lambing…
Visited Hidden Hills today & would highly recommend a visit! Kids really enjoyed feeding alpacas and lambs & we had lots of time to engage with animals. The 3 sheep dogs were a big plus! Both Timothy & Kitty were very engaging with the kids & generous with their time.
