We had a wonderful time staying at the Martello with our family! We stayed in the apartment sized room as we had our little toddler and wanted to make sure we had the ability to prepare her any food and store any as necessary. The Martello staff was very accommodating and generous, always helpful when we needed it. They provided a pack and play crib for our room, along with a little blanket and sheets. We all slept like babies and the kitchenette was wonderful to have, including the washer/dryer! Now the food and drinks - delicious!! Comfortable room for our family of four, away from the bar (which apparently can be noisy on weekends-ends, we were there during a week-day). Location right across the street from the beach/boardwalk was great, though parking can be an issue. Breakfast was great, the lady who served us was super friendly. A short drive into Dublin.
We stopped by to grab a quick meal. I had steak sandwich with black pepper sauce. It was really decent. My only feedback is on the bread (it was microwaved) but the steak, sauce and fries were great. 8/10 place! Would definitely visit again!
