Guest reviews
Grand Hotel Tralee averages 4.4 out of 5 across 1,738 reviews. A selection, quoted as written:
This hotel is great, all employees and the breakfast and bar were great as well. Rooms were spotless. The only drawback was two men making a delivery to another shop in the alley. It was past midnight and they did not have any consideration for people sleeping. My recommendation is to not have a room that opens up to the alley. This was in no way the fault of the hotel. Everything with the hotel was over the top good.
Unfortunately, the food was not what we expected. My friend had the catch of the day, this turned out to be just fish and chips, something that was not meant to be, the waiter also did not mention that this was just fish and chips. We had the ceasar salad, way too much sauce, and the chicken turkey came from a packet in our opinion. The wine was very nice, though. At checkout, we were talking about our experience, the phone rang and the lady helping us decided to answer the phone instead of speaking to us nicely. Very disappointing experience for us.
