Had a meal here on St Patrick's day, the lady serving us was fantastic. Checked back with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Food was nice.

Earlier in the afternoon as I checked in I was told at reception, that the hotel bar and the hotel was closed for the evening/night as it was the night of the staff party. The room in 'the annex' in which we stayed was spotlessly clean and modern. The annex is a separate single storey building in a lane way to the…
Yes, this is actually now an annex in an alleyway. This isn't quite as bad or dramatic as the other reviews might have you think, but it is weird, and they shouldn't use the former hotel to advertise them. I don't know how to rate the "location" as it is central and convenient but also the alleyway is pretty sketchy feeling at night. We arrived late, around 10.45pm, after a long day of travel, and after some confusing comedy with the entrance, the sweet night porter answered and kindly showed us the way down the alley to our lodgings. So: The rooms are totally fine, just think cheap, bland corporate airbnb. Very clean, although there is a mild smell of damp. It probably would have scraped…
